Mastering the Craft of Breitling Watchmaking in English
Breitling, a Swiss luxury watch brand, has been synonymous with aviation-inspired timepieces for over a century. To ensure that their watches maintain the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship, Breitling invests heavily in the training and development of its watchmakers. This includes providing them with comprehensive education in English to stay at the forefront of international horology.
At the heart of this effort is "浪琴名匠英文" – an initiative by Breitling to promote excellence in watchmaking while fostering a global understanding of their craft. By mastering both technical skills and linguistic abilities, Breitling's watchmakers can communicate effectively with clients worldwide, sharing their passion for precision timekeeping.
One such example is Nicolas Riebenstahl, a young German-born watchmaker who joined Breitling as an apprentice after completing his studies at Switzerland's prestigious WOSTEP (Watch Observatory Timepiece School). Under guidance from experienced master-watchmakers fluent in English, Nicolas honed his skills through hands-on training sessions and theoretical courses conducted entirely in English.
"I was initially nervous about learning so much new information," recalls Nicolas. "However, my instructors were incredibly patient and knowledgeable. They helped me understand not only the intricacies of each movement but also how to articulate these concepts clearly."
Nicolas' hard work paid off when he became one among 20 selected apprentices worldwide invited to showcase their skills during Breitling's annual Innovation Day event held at its headquarters near Grenchen Airport. Here they demonstrated complex repairs on vintage models alongside modern chronographs before industry professionals from around the globe.
The success stories like Nicolas' demonstrate that investing in "浪琴名匠英文" pays dividends not just within company walls but also internationally as it enables communication between local experts like him with clients across continents seeking bespoke timepieces crafted by skilled artisans like those found within Swatch Group member brands such as Omega or IWC too!
